Nyall Cook joined Rottenberg Lipman Rich as Of Counsel in January 2026.
Nyall is a litigator whose practice spans complex commercial disputes, regulatory and securities matters, intellectual property, and entertainment and media law. He represents individuals and businesses in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and regulatory proceedings.
Prior to Joining RLR, Nyall was an associate attorney with the New York law firm Hantman & Associates, where his practice involved a wide variety of disputes including complex commercial litigation, business breakups, personal injury, defamation, intellectual property matters, matrimonial and family law proceedings, trusts and estates litigation, and post-conviction relief.
Nyall was also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of MOSAIC Law LLP, where he advised clients on matters at the intersection of law, investigations, crisis management, and security. He also served as General Counsel to Multi Operational Security Agency Intelligence Company LLC, MOSAIC Law’s sister company, a global intelligence, investigations, and security firm, advising on corporate organization, contract negotiation, operational legal matters, and working directly with clients in sensitive and high-stakes engagements.
Nyall received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as associate managing editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and earned a Certificate in Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law and received multiple academic honors, including the Jeffrey E. Rockwell Memorial Prize for International Law and CALI Excellence Awards in Entertainment Law. Nyall earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder, with a concentration in Operations Management and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. He has intermediate proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, having lived and studied in Beijing, China.
Nyall is admitted to practice in New York and the District of Columbia, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, and the District Court for the District of Columbia.
